Free parking in front of location (off road). Room 1 had a lovely spacious en suite shower room. The room was on the ground floor and very clean. There were internal wooden shutters across the window which blocked out any noise from the road. No noise from train line at all. There was a mini fridge in the room with fresh milk for a brew. Comfortable proper double bed with 4 pillows. Breakfast; crispy bacon and pancakes beautifully presented. Pot of proper tea. Lovely hosts. Able to park earlier than anticipated.

Everything! From the moment we arrived until the time we departed, our hosts, Shona and Billie could not have been more attentive to our needs. The breakfasts were exceptional for the quality and choice. My gluten free requirements were catered for completely- including biscuits in our room. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits were regularly replenished. We would unreservedly recommend Abingdon House!

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in for a great stay. Helen and Scott were extremely accommodating and very friendly. The bed in our room (2) was super comfy I had 2 great nights sleep! The room facilities went above and beyond and there was even a treat of 2 homemade butterfly cakes for us on arrival 😋 The bathroom and shower facilities were second to none. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Overall an excellent experience I would definitely recommend 👌🏼

Had a very pleasant stay and throughly enjoyed the breakfast - Bill absolutely smashed the breakfast during my weekend stay! Helen and Scott were great hosts attentive and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. The room and bathroom were immaculately presented with fresh milk in the little fridge and homemade cupcakes on the dresser. There was a good range of breakfast choices with the same attention to detail given to the dining facilities as with the room.
